Mens Football:

The Mens Footballers had an unlucky turn on Tuesday evening in Greenford. TCG started well and got two goals in the first half to lead 2-03 to 0-02 at half time. The macs couldn't break down a well organised TCG defence in the second and TCG kept the scoreboard ticking over nicely to run out comfortable winners in the end. However, all was not lost as the lads had some great plays on and off the ball and walked off the pitch with incentive ahead of the next game on Sunday when they will play TCG again in the fifth round of the division 1 league.

The Reserve Footballers kept their unbeaten streak going with a good draw against St Josephs. Eoin Kelly returned to the goals and put in a great shift with a string of fine saves while Anton McClean lead the attack with 3 points to his name. This keeps them well in the running for a spot in the League Final with a few crunch games to go.

Best of luck to Nick Clare from all at the club as he is part of the London Juniors panel who take on Scotland in the British Provincial Semi Final on Saturday.

Hurling:
The hurlers had a good game against newly crowned county champions Brothers Pearse in the Collins Cup Semi Final. All the lads played well but Pearses were too strong in the end and hung on to claim a 5 point victory.

Ladies Football:
The Ladies Footballers came up against TCG in the first round of the Intermediate Championship in Greenford on Saturday morning. The Ladies put up fierce battling on the pitch, with Sarah O' Donnell scoring a goal from a penalty and Katie Pringle scoring a goal from play. Lucy Downes scored the only point for TMC. Unfortunately, the game was not to be as TCG came out on top.

Did someone say captain!! Or captain(s)!!! The Ladies footballer manager announced the captains during training last week ahead of the championship; Chelsie Sparks, Sarah O'Donnell and Lucy Downes. Congratulations ladies!

Senior Camogie:
The women played their third game of the League in Goodmayes at the weekend. Great play was shown throughout, and minimal scores were conceded with the first half ending with a 15 point lead, TMC 2-11, Croydon 0-2, with Claire Finnegan and Victoria McQueen putting the ball in the back of the net. The second half display was just as good with two additional goals, another from Claire Finnegan and the final goal from Vera Loughnane. Although 2 goals were conceded, the girls left the pitch on a high with a final score of TMC 4-16, Croydon 2-02.
